So we are off to Buenos Aires tomorrow, to start our amazing trip around South America. Before we can go there is a small matter of packing; as anyone that knows either of us at all will appreciate, I have been checking off lists of things to pack for approximately 3 months, and Andy has still got to go out to get 'a few essentials' like a coat and some hiking trousers and useful things like that... to say we have a slightly different approach to preparing for things is something of an understatement!
My bag is (almost) packed, and I was very relieved to discover that it isn't even that heavy!! Final things to sort out including loading up the ipad with as much as we can to watch on planes and buses while we are away, and trying to remember to pack the wide variety of cables required for all of the random gadgetry that we are taking. When I think that the first time I went travelling I had film and AA batteries in my camera, a discman, and a phone which may possibly have had snake on it, times have definitely changed!
